We're gonna Party like it's your Birthday
So, as hard as it is to believe, RCO (Rendan) is now 8 years old. If you can't believe it, image how we feel. Rendan's choice for his party was for us to rent a bouncy house and have a few friends over to jump, play and cook hotdogs. We did it all. We also sweated a bucket and made some tie-dye t-shirts. It was great to have Pa-Pa, Grandma and Mema all make the trip up from SC to help celebrate. Here's a few pictures from the day. I didn't take many so enjoy what we've got. Dawn

The Outer Banks

We spent the weekend of May 10th at the Outer Banks. The wedding of cousin Darren took us there, but we spent some time wondering around visiting light houses, horse filled dunes, Jockey's Ridge, and hunting down the movie scene for an upcoming movie. The movie is based on a book by Nicholas Sparks call Nights in Rodanthe and the leading actor is Richard Gere. We did indeed find the place it was being filmed on Saturday. We went back on Sunday to see if we could catch a glimpse of some eye candy, but the only thing we really caught a glimpse of was sand in the eyes. It was very windy and cold which prevented us from staying as long as we would have liked. Needless to say the Outer Banks were beautiful and I didn't want to leave. Visit there if you have a chance, it's a great place. DawnSunday, May 20, 2007
Tim's plays....
So Tim has been busy doing plays this year. He started off doing Blowfish with REP in November. As soon as Blowfish wrapped he began rehearsals on another play. He felt priviledged to be part of a small ensemble cast that worked with the Playwright to present the premier of The Man in the Desert at Theatre in the Park. This was the first time this play was presented on stage and it turned out to be a great play with great actors. Not long after The Man in the Desert wrapped he began rehearsals on yet another play, which turned out to be a blast to rehearse and an even bigger blast for those who chose to go see the play. "Poona" provided Tim with a chance to play an Angel, an Alien, a straight jacket toting Medical Assistant, a singer, a dancer and a general play participant. With these plays done Tim is ready for a much needed rest and Rendan and I are glad to have him home with us. Dawn

The Creation
Wow. I thought Conne was kidding when she said this was a really easy and fun way to set up a blog for updates and sharing. Thanks Conne for the great idea. So I've set this up and now I'm going to learn how to us it to post family information and pictures so that others can keep up with what's going on in our lives. So many have asked us for a website, so here it is. Check back often to see what's going on with the Overcash Chronicles as these will be the days of our lives!!
