Texas Stadium

That's right, we were there and we got down on the field and had fun running around.

The Yorktown Trip

Here's some photos from our visit to the Yorktown Carrier in Charleston, SC.

The above photos were taken on the deck, the flight room and in the control room. Rendan tried his hand at the guns and that's us in front of the new Ravenel Bridge which connects the peninsula to Mt Pleasant.

Below you'll see Den 12, Tim cooling it in the Captains chair, Rendan trying out the pilots seat, the sleeping quarters for the weekend, and the luxury bathrooms : ).

We enjoyed lunch outside with Phil, Laura and the kids.

The end of a great day. It was truly a beautiful sunset over Charleston Harbour where the dolphins were playing and the boats were winding down for the day.

Labor Day

Woooweee. What a nice end to 'summer'. We spent a great weekend in Myrtle Beach visiting with family, eating good food, and soaking up the sun on the beach. The kids had a great time playing together inside and outside. Other than some illnesses the kids started sharing by the end of the weekend it was a great time had by all. Until next year....here's a sampling of the events.

Kerr Lake with friends

What a nice day we spent at the lake with Mrs. Daphine and Mr. Ronnie. Tim and Dawn tried tubing for the first time and Rendan braved swimming in the lake for the first time. We enjoyed riding on the boat and playing in the water. We finished the day with a great feast complete with shrimp, chicken, corn and more sweets than anyone should have in a month.

Carolina Kids....Meet the Tarheels 07

Annual meeting of the UNC Tarheels football team. 3 things to say.....hot....crowded.....and dead camera batteries...... need I say more??

As we always do, we intended to take Rendan's picture on the field. Here's the only 3 pictures I was able to capture with my dying, dying, dead batteries.
